Where did you say to buy the organic Alpiste seed? I could not find it on your website.

Thanks!

I am borderline diabetic. I was told about Leche de Alpiste and purchase some from a Mexican store. this is a powder type of Leche de Alpiste. Is this as good as the seed to take.

Rhonda: I have no idea about the powder. I have never used or worked with it. I'm assuming that they grind up the seed and this is how they end up with the powder. All you can do is test it out and see if it works. Good luck.

Nutritional information on Certified Silica Fiber Free Alpiste: http://www.alpiste.com/faq/nutrition-information.html

Raw vs. cooked
Cooking canaryseed will destroy many of the enzymes in the seeds and decrease some of its nutritional value. For this reason we think soaking it overnight and using it raw is a better option.

There is NO organic Alpiste - only Certified Silica Fiber Free Alpiste. There is a company that claims they have organic, but it is not true.
